October 07 "Flatlanders" was used as a part of a debate in Guildford Cathedral entitled "Is Science The New Religion", reminding us that there are unseen dimensions to existence and that we are indeed "Flatlanders", living in limited dimensions. (Oxford Film and Video Makers & I.O.P.)
2006-08 - Funded by The Wellcome Trust to create a piece which incorporates microbiology; a rendition of the Pre-Raphaelite painting of Ophelia out of bacteria. The demise of the painting and other events are filmed using time-lapse photography. The work shows a story of death and creation of new life; as Ophelia dies some bacteria escape for a new life and others colonize the painting.
The colours and animation for '60 Days Goodbye Poems Of Ophelia' were created in a laboratory at Surrey University with the help of a microbiologist Dr Simon Park. The completion of the project is planned for 2008 to be curated by Peter Lewis who previously held posts as Assistant Director of Curating in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, 2000-2003.
2005 -' Walking' a five minutes animated film created using filming of people on the street and computer animation a winner of a CobraVision Award for Art Film shown ITV also as a part of an international touring screening of time displacement experimental video, ,called Reindeer opening in Iceland.
2004 - Digital Artist in residence at Lewisham College
The film Two Children Threatened By A Nightingale,' based on a painting by Max Ernst of the same title was shown at The Festival de Alcala de Henares in Madrid.
2003- 5 Men filmed the bodies of 5 X' lovers in extreme close up using their bodies like landscapes. Shown in the Ardean Gallery, London in an international exhibition on the theme of Love, Jan 2004, and (2005) shown at Asolo Art Film Festival in the Auteur Section.
2004- Digital Artist in Residence Lewisham College.
2002-2003 'Sally Down The Plug Hole', shown at the ICA in the Halloween Festival, the 291 Gallery and Orleans House Gallery in an international exhibition called 'Digi-Monde' on the theme of digital painters of modern life and as a part of an exhibition called 'Brave Destiny Master Surrealist Exhibition' in Brooklyn at the Williamsburg Art And Historical Centre USA.
1998-2000 She received an artist's bursary from Acme, to live and work in 'The Fire Station' Tower Hamlets. And was one of the artists featured in the international Michelin 2000 exhibition. 2000 she created five three-dimensional installations using animation that explore the effects of interaction with an environment and the change that this makes on the perception of time. During this time also created a video installation for The Centre For Popular Music in Sheffield.
1997 - Wrote and directed a short film 'The Cat' commissioned by Carlton Television for their 'Showcase for Artists Film and Video. Also, created a short film about a pair of melting high heels for the opening of the new' Lux' Cinema, Hoxton Square, London.
1995-1996 Received a development award for experimental screen writing from The London Production Fund and another one from The British Film Institute.
1996-1996 Channel 4 Television commissioned her to write and direct, Sawdust For Brains And The Key Of Wisdom'. shown in two special cinema programs 'A Showcase For The Avant-gar and 'Grotesque Imaginings' at the National Film Theatre as well as on C4 television.
1992-1993- Commissioned by BBC 2 to make the film 'The Weatherhouse' which was shown on BBC2 television.
1990 - The Brooch Pin And The Sinful Clasp,' won several awards including, the Grand Prix at Zagreb film festival, The Time Out Film Award, The Observer Award and The Directions Award, this film also toured part of an Arts Council program called 'Between Imagination and Reality'. Shown Channel 4
